Students

I am looking for motivated undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in pursuing research in any of the following areas:
-drought monitoring
-drought prediction
-climate variability
/climate change
-climate forecasting
-long-term trends in hurricane occurrence & intensity
-hydroclimatology (floods and droughts)
-hurricanes and climate change
-hurricane wind field modeling
-precipitation bias adjustment

-soil moisture monitoring/modeling
-crop growth monitoring/modeling
-any aspect of applied climatology

Please contact me to find out more about existing research opportunities and undergraduate and graduate research assistanships (squiring@geog.tamu.edu).

Graduate students can pursue an MS or PhD in Geography or an MS or PhD in Water Management and Hydrological Sciences.
