Atlas Exercises

The Atlas Exercise is a learning experience that introduces students to maps and the assigned Atlas. It also serves as a survey of cartographic ideas and different types and uses of maps. The exercise is worth 100 points (or 10% of the final course grade). The skills you learn from this exercise are important and useful as studying for exams.



Atlas Exercise is Due Monday, September 19th at class or in my office.



Use the Atlas of World Geography, 2005 edition (2003 should be ok). Rand McNally.
Answer with the most correct possible response; Record onto a large gray scantron.
