Course Topics

This course covers ten topics. Each topic is explained by a brief paragraph, the topic goals (what you, as a student, should learn about the topic), the outline of the lecture notes given in class, and external links to additional resources on the web related to the topic.

REMEMBER: These lecture notes are OUTLINES and not a substitute for attending class and taking COMPLETE notes. If you miss a lecture, be sure to get a more complete set of notes from a fellow student.
