Will Heyman Belize Professor Heyman is leading projects on reef fish spawning aggregation conservation and management in Belize throughout the Caribbean. Dr. Heyman also leads another project aimed at evaluating the effects of ecotourism on the behavior of spawning reef fishes in Belize (see also Gulf of Mexico, Los Roques, St. Croix, Cayman Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, Marine and Coastal Geography Group).
Björn Kjerfve Belize Measurement, analysis, and hydrodynamic modeling of physical processes along the MesoAmerican Reef to simulate dispersion of eggs from reef fish spawning aggregations and simulate currents associated with extreme run-off and hurricane events (see also Brazil, Antigua and Barbuda).
