Research

Dr. Sui’s primary research interests include the integration of spatial analysis and modeling with GIS for socio-economic, public health, and environmental applications, theoretical issues in geographic information sciences, urban geography, information ecology, and emerging geographies of the information society. Dr. Sui has teaching duties in introductory and advanced GIS courses, geography of East Asia, and advanced research seminars in GIScience and urban/economic geography. Dr. Sui currently serves as the editor-in-chief of GeoJournal. Visit his personal webpage for his recent research projects and publications.
