Welcome to the Site of the B-518 Science project that is studying the environmental impact of science and operations at McMurdo Station, Antarctica

This is a joint project between researchers at the Geochemical and Environmental Research Group (GERG) and the Department of Geography at Texas A&M University and researchers at the Marine Sciences Institute at the University of Texas.

This website will document our 2004 field season which began in earnest with the flight of four science team members from Christchurch New Zealand to McMurdo Station, Antarctica on November 22nd.
