 Howdy. We’re glad you’re visiting the Geography website. A lot of fascinating teaching, learning, and research is happening here, and we want to keep you informed and involved. We are fortunate to have several new members recently join our team of exceptional faculty and researchers, which has increased the depth and scope of teaching and research within the department. Evidence of that is our Department’s being ranked 9th nationwide in faculty productivity in 2007, as noted on our home page. Stay up-to-date on current news and events in the Department and throughout the College by visiting our news pages. And if you’re going to be in College Station, feel free to attend the weekly colloquia and special lectures we host during the school term. Colloquia are held on Fridays at 3pm in CSA 303 (Teague addition) unless otherwise indicated on the Colloquia schedule. Afterward, join us and the speaker for further conversation at a Coffee Social in the room next door.
