TOTAL: 25hrs.

Rationale: The teaching field is flexible but provides candidates with the foundational knowledge they will need to teach the high school World Geography Studies class. This course is heavily weighted toward human geography, hence the teaching field does not emphasize physical geography courses but does not exclude them either. The teaching field is flexible enough for students to be able to complete without having to wait for classes to be offered. GEOG 355 is the only required course that is not taught every semester.

Students completing this 25 hour field will have completed all the requirements for a Geography minor.
