Average quiz scores will be posted on the web. Remember that your
performance will be judged with respect to the average class
performance. Keep in mind that your final class average will almost
certainly be raised by your homework and update scores.
Final Exam (Final
Exam
Schedule)
The final exam is important; it accounts for about 33 percent of the
course credit. Old final exams are on line (click the link to the
left). I
would encourage you to look at these old finals so that you will be
prepared for the level of difficulty and the length of the final exam.
You will see some of the same questions (or ones that are very similar
to those on the old finals) on your exam. You will also see many new
questions. Use the old exams to help you study. Do not try to memorize
the questions and answers. Remember, unlike the weekly quizzes, only
material covered in class will appear on the final exam.
If you are scheduled to take three final exams on the same day, you may ask to have an exam rescheduled. The University procedure is outlined in student rules. See <http://student-rules.tamu.edu/rule8.htm>.
